Spill the Tea with Embroidery - A Teen Event with the Tallahassee Embroidery Guild

Teens are invited to join us in learning the basics of embroidery with the Tallahassee Embroidery Guild. This event will teach you the basic stitches and how to apply them through multiple mediums such as thread, yarn, and even ribbon! Once you get the basic stitches down you will have a chance to apply them by embroidering a canvas tote bag with your initials (using a premade template for the letters). After adorning the bag with your initials teens you can check out the tie-dye station and customize your bags even further! Note: If you plan on tie-dying bring a plastic bag to wrap your wet bags up to take home to wash and reveal the final design. Snacks and drinks will be provided! |
