Sugar and spice and all things nice are in store during the Leon County Public Library's fifth annual Community Gingerbread House Competition! Put your design skills to the test in this family-friendly competition for a chance to win gift card prizes. Winners from five divisions will be selected. Entries must be 100% edible and feature gingerbread. Kits are allowed.

Divisions

• Child Division A (ages birth-5 years old)
• Child Division B (ages 6-11 years old)
• Teen Division (ages 13-17 years old)
• Adult Division (18 and older)
• Family Division

Registration is required and opens on Saturday, November 18, at 8 a.m. and ends on Friday, December 1, at 1 p.m.

Participants should drop off their houses at the Leon County Main Library on Saturday, December 2, between 12-1 p.m.

During the event, youth are invited to participate in hands-on STEAM activities.
