2nd Saturday with the Museum of Florida History: La Florida: Hispanic Heritage Month
National Hispanic Heritage Month begins in September! Ever since the first voyages that led to the naming of “La Florida” over 500 years ago, descendants of the Spanish-speaking world have shaped this land and its culture. Together, we will explore the Florida cities where Hispanic history, food, music, and language are found today. And, we’ll make and decorate maracas to keep the beat going!
This program is in partnership with the Museum of Florida History.
