Eureka! An Evening of Science
Ignite your curiosity with an exhilarating evening of science exploration! In partnership with Todd Bevis, Director, Professional Development Programs in the Office of STEM Teaching Activities at Florida State University, this program applies thinking skills not only to scientific issues, but to everyday life in understanding the world around us. The Library will provide light refreshments. Occurs on Mondays on the following dates:
April 7 and 21, 2025 – Sun, Earth, Water, and Salt?
Through engaging, hands-on learning, participants discover the critical relationships that exist between the Sun, salt, and water on our planet. Even though we may not realize it, these key interactions govern many aspects of human life. This session will foster a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of Earth's systems and cause you to never look at water the same way again!
