Library Lecture Series: "Haunted Tallahassee: Legends, Lore, and Local Memory"
Hear the real stories behind our community’s most chilling legends in an evening of haunted history and captivating storytelling. This program uncovers the history woven into ghost tales that have echoed through our streets for generations. Blending eyewitness accounts, oral traditions, and historical research, learn how myths preserve memory and reflect the struggles, tragedies, and transformations of Leon County’s past.
This program is free and open to the public. Refreshments provided.
Stephanie Chandler, owner of Storied Paths, is a longtime Tallahassee resident, historian, and storyteller who brings the community’s past to life.
