Three Sisters Harvest
It’s nearly harvest time! Come learn about the Three Sisters - maize, beans, squash - and the importance of these crops to indigenous peoples. Guests will join in a story time reading of ‘The Corn Lady,’ a Seminole Tribe of Florida story adapted by Betty Mae Jumper. Visitors will celebrate the harvest by making a corn husk doll to take home! Join us for this Second Saturday program in partnership with the Museum of Florida History.
